Start with your role
Who are you here for?
Open one group. The cards inside are the parts of SportsTabi that match that job.
Your schedule, your trip, your stats.
Players see the team schedule, the shared trip, and published stats. The roster uses a first name and last initial.
Your profile is private by default.
A minor has no public profile. A missing birthday is treated as under 18.
Ask Tabi stays on saved answers.
Players under 18 get saved answers only. Ask Tabi does not open a model chat for them.
Your login, each of your players.
Stay on your own login and pick which linked player you are viewing. A player can have a separate login. You do not share a password to do that.
Copied on direct messages to your child.
When an adult sends your child a direct message, every linked parent is copied. If no parent is linked, that private thread does not start. Team chat does not copy parents.
Your family's travel and spending stay private.
The team can share a hotel block. Your reservation, confirmation number, and trip costs stay with your household.
Download your child's data.
A linked parent can download that child's information. The file is the download. It is not emailed.
Parent-created accounts for kids under 13. Coming soon
A parent-created account for a player under 13, with that parent's permission recorded first, is not available yet.
Track fees for every family.
See who still owes a fee. Families pay the way the team already does, then mark it in SportsTabi. The app never takes a card.
Build the team trip once.
Share the rink, the schedule, and the team hotel. Families add their own hotel and travel in private.
Assign billet hosts.
Few team apps build billeting in. A host is tied to a player. While the assignment is active, the host can read that team's schedule and team chat. Family spending stays with the family.

Dividing one bill 20+ ways is not in the app. Fee tracking is.
Message one player. Every minor under 18.
A direct message to a minor copies every linked parent, so the thread is not a private adult-and-child pair. A missing birthday counts as a minor. Team chat does not add parents.
Schedule changes reach families.
Edit one game, or re-import that team's calendar. Changes are kept, and families can be emailed when a game changes.
Import stats from the game-sheet file.
Upload a GameSheet-style file, review it, and publish up to 50 games at once. The publish is all or nothing.

Every team, one club account.
A standalone team is an organization of one.
Import each team's schedule.
Each team can import a calendar file, edit one game, or re-import to update. That import is one team at a time.
Scheduling for 30+ teams at once. Coming soon
Publishing schedules for 30+ teams in one step is not in the app. Each team imports its own calendar today.
Court-order levels on a named parent.
An organization admin can record a level and its dates. While those dates are current, SportsTabi applies that level. The court paper is not stored.
On the road
Road trips, sorted.
One shared trip for the team: the rink, the schedule, and the team hotel. Each family keeps its own reservation and confirmation number. Log trip costs as you go. Coming soon Season and trip budgets.
Billeting
Few team apps build billeting in.
SportsTabi lets the club assign a host family to a player. While that assignment is active, the host can read that team's schedule, team chat, and travel details. The host does not see the family's private spending. Ending the assignment ends that access.
Stats
Stats without the retyping.
Upload a GameSheet-style file, review it, and publish up to 50 games at once. The publish is all or nothing. Coming soon Photo scorecard scan.
Profiles
Player profiles with only what players need.
Profiles are private by default. A social handle for ages 13 to 17 is stored only when a linked parent allows it. Parents pick which linked player they are viewing, can download that child's information, and are copied on adult-to-minor direct messages. Coming soon Parent-created accounts for kids under 13.
Money
Money without the awkward texts.

We designed SportsTabi with these rules in mind. SportsTabi is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these organizations, and using SportsTabi does not by itself make a club meet them.

What that looks like An adult's direct message to a minor copies every linked parent. If no parent is linked, that private thread does not start. Team chat and group threads do not add a parent, so this page does not say team chat meets the rule for messages sent to more than one minor.
We designed with this in mind USA Hockey's electronic-communications handbook
What that looks like The same direct-message copy is what the app does today. The handbook sentence about copying a parent on a message to the team is quoted on the safety page. SportsTabi does not claim team chat does that.
